Mortgage Resources
The first step to buying a home is not searching on the internet – it’s learning your price range. Every offer on a home is presented with documentation that the buyer can obtain financing or pay cash for the home. For a buyer obtaining a mortgage, that documentation is a pre-approval letter from a mortgage lender.
Things to look for in a Mortgage Provider
Is the Loan Originator accessible? Will the the originator be available to discuss details, decisions and deadlines and answer your questions promptly?
Does the Loan Originator understand your individual situation? Will the originator listen closely to your needs?
What about the rate? What kind of a loan program is the Loan Originator offering? Are the rate and terms understandable and do they fit your needs? Remember, if the program and rate sound too good to be true, it probably is.
Is your Mortgage Provider Local? If not, do they know the closing and settlement procedures in New Hampshire? You want to avoid last minute glitches that may be costly.
Does Your Mortgage Provider use local real estate appraisers that are familiar with the southeastern New Hampshire market?
