New Hampshire’s sixth oldest town, Kingston is one of New Hampshire’s most picturesque towns. A half-mile long common called The Plains runs through the center of town and is surrounded by historic homes, the town hall, fire station, a country store, restaurants and Kingston State Park. Lakes, ponds and rivers are found throughout the town. Kingston is part of the Sanborn Regional School District. Elementary students attend the DJ Bakie School in the center of town, the new Sanborn Regional High School is in town and middle school students attend the Sanborn Regional Middle School in Newton.
